Welcome to our new fossil preparers page!

We now have access to several tons of fossilized limestone from the "Great Smokey Hill River Basin" deposits in central Kansas. These deposits contain primarily bivalve clams ranging from 1 inch to 6 plus inches in diameter and many of the slabs are able to be split, leaving both the positive and negative sides of the specimens. The whole clams are easily prepped and polished, for astounding specimen pieces. Sizes range from 4 to 5 inches in width to 24 inches in width square, weighing up to 800 pounds. Thicknesses range from 2 to 8 inches. Below, you will see photos of typical pieces. Click the photos for expanded view. For   further info, call 1-800-569-4648.
